Basrijs disc planter BPS/2R — 2-row planting machine
Basrijs 2-row disc seed drill.
Suitable for single plants from 2 to 50 cm tall and soil blocks up to P9 (e.g., strawberries, perennials, and woody nursery stock).
Disc speed is controlled by a roller.
Operating principle:
the planter places the plant between a metal disc and a flexible rubber disc, which presses it into the furrow and releases it. The plant is then firmly compacted by pressing rollers. The front of the machine has wheels with a chain drive that regulates the rotation speed of the planting discs. The drive comes from the tractor hydraulics, ensuring correct plant spacing in the row even at varying working speeds. In-row spacing is determined by the number of marks on the planting disc and the gear selection of the chain drive.
Suitable for both small and large planting material. Comfortable working position due to the large planting disc. The weight of the planter does not affect plant pressing. Fewer spare parts are needed.
